The Electronic Revolution
Inspired by William Burroughs’ eponymous essay from 1971, the movie assembles several visual, verbal and sound cut-ups created through prerecorded images and sounds and also the manipulation of Burroughs’ text itself. The typeface, Akziville, was made specifically for the film as a result of a collage process involving two well-know typefaces: Baskerville and Akzidenz-Grotesk.
